Have a Blast, Make Summer Last!

Camp, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. But few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social and educational activities. Y counselors are dedicated to making sure camp is an amazing experience for every camper.

Registration is now open for Summer Day Camp at both the Massillon Family YMCA and Towpath Trail YMCA. Parents can register their kids in person at either branch or go online for the required paperwork to print and bring in.  Registration for the summer is $25 and includes a water bottle, camp T-shirt, and a YMCA bag.

Three Highlights

Camp is fun!: With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, Summer Day Camp comes complete with sports, games, crafts, and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Field Trips: Field trips are included in the weekly rate and include fun and learning. In addition to local parks, some field trips include the Uhrichsville Water Park, Discovery World, Cleveland Zoo, Rolling Ridge Ranch, and Sluggers and Putters, depending on the branch you attend.

Camp food: This year, breakfast, lunch, and snack will be included with camp. No packing a lunch or rushing to eat breakfast in the morning.

Why Should You Attend?

Day camp can offer almost all of the benefits of traditional camp—new experiences, skill building, a sense of community and lasting friendships while allowing campers to return home each afternoon.
