The Towpath Trail YMCA is a 4 star, state licensed, child care facility. We offer high quality programs such as, before and after school care, snow-day/ school day off care, full-day and partial-day preschool. Our child care enables parents and family members to go to work knowing their children are in a safe, stimulating environment.

What Programs do we offer?
Before & After School Care
6:00 AM- 8:30 AM & 4:10 PM- 6:00 PM
We invite you to join our Before and After School Program for children grades Kindergarten to 6th grade. Enjoy a positive, safe environment for your school age child. Fairless Local Schools provide busing to and from school. During their time in our program, children are given the opportunity to complete homework, time to relax, enjoy a healthy snack and participate in a variety of activities! Students will also get to utilize our full size gymnasium, pool and large outdoor space. We will implement character values in this program while preparing them to stay home alone.
School Days Off & Snow Days
6:00 AM- 6:00 PM
No more worries during school breaks or on those snow days when you don’t know what to do with the kids. Drop them off for a day of fun filled activities at your YMCA. A special schedule that offers swimming, fun games, sports, crafts and activities will be posted so parents will know all the exciting opportunities their children will get to experience.
Intro to Preschool - All Day* OR Half Day**
3-4 years old
In this program our objective is to introduce the educational elements, however our main focus in this class is to encourage social/ emotional development. We utilize Creative Curriculum to encourage child interest and play based learning.
Pre-Kindergarten - All Day* OR Half Day**
4-5 years old
Get ready for Kindergarten with our Pre-Kindergarten class! Our goal is to prepare children for the learning environment and gain kindergarten readiness skills that will prove success. We collaborate with our local school district and utilize Creative Curriculum to meet the requirements and needs of the student and the district.
*All Day Preschool Programs
All Day Child Enrichment programs are open from 6:00 AM- 6:00 PM. We offer full-time or part-time weeks. Various activities are provided such as, circle time, lunch time, nap, snack time, free-play, library, gym, swimming, outdoor play and learning based on the interest of the child.
**Half Day Preschool Programs
Intro to Preschool Tuesday and Thursdays | Pre-Kindergarten Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Half Day Child Enrichment programs on their specified days run from 8:45 AM- 11:15 AM. There are many fun-filled learning opportunities in this program as well! Although there is a shorter period of time, children will still gain the skills needed to be successful in the learning environment as they prepare for Kindergarten. Children will experience, circle time, library, gym, outdoor play and free-play as well.
Although the goals for each class are different, our ultimate objective is to create a healthy mind, body and spirit for each child.
